Two days free Dental Checkup Camp held by GMC Hospital, Ajman

In continuation of the  human endeavor to bring about health awareness to the people in the region, the Dental Department of GMC Hospital, Ajman  in association with Signal Middle East – Dubai organized a free Dental Checkup Camp at GMC Hospital, Ajman between 09.00 am to 09.00 pm on 23rd of February, 2012  and from 3.00 pm to 8.00pm on 24th February, 2012.

572 dental patients participated and benefitted from the two day free Dental Checkup Camp.  The GMC Ajman Dental team headed by Dr. Nabeel Safwat Al Nahass, Prosthodontist and Implant Specialist ‘A’, Consult’B’ and  4  Senior Specialist Dental Surgeons, 1 Oral Hygienist  and  6 Dental Nurses with 1 Medical Orderly carried out the comprehensive dental checkup.

This free dental camp registered the highest ever record of number of dental patients as compared to all the previous regular  dental checkup camps held till date.

Out of a total of 572 patients that attended the two days free dental camp on the 23rd & 24th February, 2012,  68 procedures have been carried out while 97 new patients availed scaling and polishing besides the regular dental checkup, all the patients were given Complimentary Signal toothpaste and toothbrush.

With the tremendous success and endearing response from the public, the dental team of GMC Hospital, Ajman wishes to conduct more such camps to help, serve the community in a healthier manner.
