Thumbay Hospital, Fujairah Conducted a series of Health Awareness Campaigns

On the World Diabetes Day, Thumbay Hospital, Fujairah Conducted a series of Health Awareness Campaigns. A Free Medical Camp was conducted on 11th November in association with St Gregorios Indian Orthodox Church, Fujairah to create awareness among the general public.

More than 125 people benefitted from the Free Campaign which included the Free Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure and BMI evaluation, Vision checkup for all.

This was continued by a Free RBS Checkup & Dietitian Consultation on 14th of November held inside the premises of our Hospital. Those who were having high RBS levels were offered the cost effective Diabetes Package checkup as an initiative to combat the prevalence of diabetes in Fujairah and other parts of UAE.

The camp witnessed great turnouts and visitors from different nationalities particularly UAE, Oman, Philippines, India, Pakistan etc.

A Human Chain was formed by the Hospital staff outside the premises of the Hospital to signify the importance of healthy lifestyle for enhancing the quality of life and better future.

Dr. Mohammed Faisal Pervez, Chief Operating Officer, while pointing out the benefits of the awareness campaign, mentioned that such CSR initiatives will be continued with the support of management of Thumbay Hospitals.
