Thumbay Group inaugurates GMC Medical & Dental Specialty Centre at Sharjah, U.A.E.

As part of the expansion projects of Thumbay Group, a new GMC Medical & Dental Specialty Centre located next to National Paints roundabout in Sharjah was inaugurated on the 17^th of September, 2011.  This centre supports the clinical teaching activities of the Dental College of Gulf Medical University, U.A.E.  Orthodontic, Prosthodontic, Oral Surgery, Endodontic, General Dentistry are some of the specialized dental treatments carried out in the dental clinic.  Very soon GMC Medical & Dental Specialty Centre has plans to start Internal Medicine Clinic with  specialized treatments such as, Orthopedic, Radiology, Pediatric, Obstetrics & Gynecology to name a few.  For the convenience of the patients an in-house pharmacy with wide range of medicines from reputed pharmaceutical manufacturers will also be available around the clock.

To mark the start of the all important GMC Medical & Dental Special Centre, a free dental camp was organized in association with U.A.E. Exchange.  Free dental check-up and free consultation was offered to more than 350 dental patients who visited the Specialty Centre.

For future expansion of the medical centre the annexure building will be added to the existing facility.  The annexure building is being developed to accommodate general clinics plus in-patients, emergency, operation theatre and delivery rooms which will make it a full fledged hospital.
