OVER 1000 people participated in the 2009 Annual GMC Ajman Fun Run held on March 13th 2009

Over 1000 people participated in the ANNUAL GMC AJMAN FUN RUN, organized by the Body & Soul Health Club an international chain of health clubs promoted by the Thumbay group U.A.E.

Mr. Thumbay Moideen, President GMU flagged off the 7 K and 2.6 K Race, starting point and finishing point at the Kempinski Hotel Ajman, along the fabulous Corniche.

B. Ahmed Hajee Mohiudeen, Chairman B.A Group India along with Mr. B.M Ashraf, CEO Mohiudeen Wood Works distributed the prizes to the Ajman Police and various winners of 7 K & 2.6 K Races. Following were the various results of the run. Winner 7K-Rayan Haris, Runner-up 7k-Charlie Mc Feely,Ladies 7K Winner –Emma Noffat, Ladies 2.6k Runer-up Rosemarie Giltenane, Boys Under 12 7K- winner TAMEL Mc Feely, Under 12 7K Runner-up Abdul Rahman.

The provost of GMU Prof.Gita Ashok Raj gave away the Prizes to special needs winners and school participants. Dr. Mohd Arfiulla Dean Admission and registers GMU gave away participation certificates to various schools and Mr. Akbar Moideen Thumbay, Director Thumbay Group Gave certificate of appreciation to the various sponsors.
