Next generation Indian Business leaders in UAE honored

Akbar Moideen Thumbay featured amongst the 25 bright minds of UAE’s businesses

Akbar Moideen Thumbay, Director Operations, Healthcare and Retail, Thumbay Group UAE is featured in the twenty five young business leaders in the UAE, profiled in a coffee table book published by Exponent media, Dubai.

Akbar is chosen for his dedication and entrepreneurship and was presented with a special trophy, during a ceremony held at Ritz Carlton Dubai.  The gala ceremony was attended by His Excellency Abdul Rahman Saif Al Ghurair, Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and After receiving the award, Mr. Akbar said ‘I am happy to get such recognition at this stage of my business career’ and dedicated it to his family. He added I owe this achievement to my father, Mr. Thumbay Moideen, who has been my constant guiding force all through my life. I feel that this is just a beginning and I have a long way to go to realize my aims.

Industry, His Excellency Mirza Al Sayegh, Director of the Office of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Minister of Finance and Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Indian Ambassador to the UAE, T. P Seetharam, and two prominent UAE-based Indian businessmen, Dr. Ram Buxani and Bharatbhai Shah. The ceremony was attended by several prominent businessmen from Indian community, government officials and media representatives.

The dignitaries applauded the young generation of business leaders for their commitment and foresight in taking their businesses to next level of success.

The 206-page glossy book has profiled 25 business leaders from across a broad spectrum of economic fields. Those featured in the book were later felicitated at the ceremony and presented with trophies.
