Gulf Medical College holds Prize Distribution Ceremony for 6th Annual GMCA Sports & Cultural Festival –2007.

More than 45 trophies were presented on the concluding day of the 6th Annual GMCA Sports and Cultural Festival held at the Gulf Medical College, Ajman. A weeklong Sports Festival was conducted at the college from March 24th to 29th, 2007. The festival had participants from 14 leading Colleges and Universities in the UAE vying for the trophies.

The concluding day results of the various sports and the cultural festival were announced during the prize distribution ceremony held in the lawns of the college. The chief guest Mr. Faizal KE, President & CEO of Emirates Techno Casting UAE gave away the prizes for the various winners along with the guest of honor Mr. Thumbay Moideen, Founder President of Gulf Medical College, Ajman, Mr. Jassim Al Khaja – General Manager, City Center Ajman and Prof. Gita Ashok Raj, Dean of Gulf Medical College, Ajman.

All the participants exhibited a high standard of sportsmanship during the various events. Keeping in view the enthusiasm generated among the students during the festival, Gulf Medical College, Ajman plans to extend the duration of the festival to two weeks in future and include more colleges and universities in various sports and cultural events.
