GULF MEDICAL COLLEGE AJMAN TO HOLD ANNUAL Sports Festival 2004

Gulf Medical College Ajman to organize a weeklong Sports festival from the 24th to 28th of January 2004. The festival will have participation of over 18 colleges and universities from the UAE like Skyline college Sharjah, American university of Sharjah, American university of Dubai, University of wollongong etc. vying for the various Trophies in Cricket, Football, Basket Ball, Throw ball, Tennis and Table Tennis.

“We want to instill the spirit of sportsmanship and in turn develop a healthy competitive attitude amongst the students. We want to make this annual event on an international level in the future, said Dr. Ishtiyaq Ahmed Shafie, Sports Coordinator at the college. “This year the sports festival will be conducted on a bigger level and is already very popular among the students of various colleges & Universities” he added.

The Sports festival had received tremendous support earlier through various sponsors like Thumbay Group, Western Union, Air India, “ALDO” Montreal Trading, Ajman Kempenski, Emirates Techno casting, Sun & Sands, Ajman Beach hotel, Faza Trading, Skippy L.L.C etc. and hopes for their continuing support.

Gulf Medical College Ajman is the only Medical College in U.A.E offering M.B.B.S degree program and B.P.T Degree program to both girls and boys of all nationalities. The college is in the fifth year of providing quality Medical Education to the students.
