Governor of Kano, Nigeria visits Gulf Medical University

On the 12^th of November, 2012 Gulf Medical University (GMU) witnessed a high profiled visit by His Excellency Idi Farouk, Governor of Kanu – Nigeria accompanied by His Excellency Ibrahim Auwalu, Ambassador-Embassy of Nigeria, Abu Dhabi and Dr. Danburam Abubakar Nuhu, Commissioner of Commerce, Industry, Co-operatives & Tourism, Kano – Nigeria.

On arrival, the 8 member delegation were accorded a warm welcome by the Nigerian medical students of GMU.   Later, a meeting was held between the visiting delegates and Mr. Thumbay Moideen, Founder President of Thumbay Group to discuss about the joint collaboration of establishing GMC brands of hospitals and a branch of Gulf Medical University in Kanu, Nigeria.
