GMU Professor Attends Asian American Academic Conference

Prof. Tatiana Ille, Professor of Biostatistics, Head of the Department of General Education at Gulf Medical University, Ajman participated in the Asian American Academic Conference held in Singapore during 12-15 January 2016. The conference
topic was “Contemporary Trends in Education.”

Prof. Tatiana who was the only representative from the UAE at the conference, did an e-poster presentation on the topic ‘Teaching non-medical subjects to medical doctors at GMU’, before 68 academics from 18 different countries who attended the conference and presented their work.

The conference was organized by the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore,along with the internationally renowned National University of Singapore. Nanyang Technological University (NTU Singapore) is a young and research-intensive university which was ranked 11th in the Asia University Rankings of 2013. It has 32,500 students and 4000+ faculty and researchers from over 100 nationalities.
