GMC Super Speciality Dental Centre, Ajman in association with Sensodyne M.E. & Colgate M.E. holds two days free Dental Checkup Camp.

GMC Super-Speciality Dental Centre, Ajman and College of Dentistry, GMU in collaboration with GSK- Sensodyne Middle East and Colgate Middle East recently held two days free Dental Checkup Camp at GMC hospital.

A total of 400 patients  comprising of pediatric, teenagers, adults and geriatric patients attended and benefitted from the Free Dental Checkup Camp.  The GMC Ajman Dental team headed by Dr. Nabeel Safwat Al Nahass, Prosthodontist and Implant Specialist ‘A’, Consultant’B’ and 2 highly qualified Periodontists ( Gum Specialists), 5  Senior Dental Surgeons, 1 Oral Hygienist, 7 Dental Nurses and 1 Medical orderly along with the DMD students from Gulf Medical University carried out the comprehensive dental consultation & checkup.

This free comprehensive dental camp registered the highest number of dental patients and the first ever independent dental event compared to all the previous regular departmental camps held till date.

60 procedures have been carried out while 90 new patients availed scaling and polishing besides the regular dental consultation & checkup .

Complimentary medicines, Comprehensive Sensodyne toothpastes and Colgate toothbrushes  were distributed free of charge to all the visiting patients  with their families.

With this tremendous success and endearing response from the visiting patients , the Periodontics Division of GMC Super-Speciality Dental Centre, Ajman wishes to conduct more such camps to help serve the community in a better and healthier manner.  This human endeavour of GMC Hospital, Ajman was well received and appreciated both by the patients and the management of GMC Hospital, Ajman .

The above health checkup camp is one of the many free social events organized by Gulf Medical College Hospitals throughout the year.
