GMC HOSPITAL AJMAN – Opens Expanded Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, being the largest NICU in the Region, in the private Sector.

Watched by several physicians, nurses, and hospital staff, GMC HOSPITAL Pediatric Department, helped transport the first babies to be housed in newly-expanded, state of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

This New, fully-equipped NICU stands ready to serve the ever increasing number of high-risk pregnancies in the Hospital’s maternal fetal medicine program and to care for the critically ill and premature babies transferred from other hospitals. The hospital has a specialized Neonatal Transport Team.GMC Hospital presently is Delivering 300 babies a month and will be in a better position to handle cases with complication.

The Women’s Health Center at GMC Hospital provides comprehensive primary and tertiary care to women of all ages. The compliment of services includes a NICU, maternal fetal services, infertility services, obstetrics, gynecology, and The Breast Diagnostic Center.
