Free Pediatric and Gynec Camp held by GMC Hospital, Fujairah in collaboration with Abbot Nutrition and Kairali Samskarikavedi – Fujairah.

In continuation of the  human endeavor to bring about health awareness to the people in the region,  the Gynec and Pediatric Department of GMC Hospital, Fujairah  in association with Abbot Nutrition and Kairali  Samskarikavedi, Fujairah organized a free Pediatric and Gynec camp at GMC Hospital, Fujairah on the 13^th of January 2012 from 03.00pm to 08.00pm..

The auspicious event was inaugurated by Dr. Sathyanarayanan , Medical Director of GMC Hospital, Fujairah.  A total of 170 patients  comprising of pediatric, gynec  and expectant mothers were attended in a span of five hours.  Discounts of 50% on  laboratory investigations, 50% on CT Scan,  30% on X-Rays and 30% on Ultrasound were offered to the visitors.   More than 20 cases of referral to the laboratory within a week and 30 cases of doctor’s appointments within  one week  was registered in the limited hours of the health camp.

Medicines, vitamin and nutritional products offered by medical companies were distributed at free of cost to the visiting patients.  With the tremendous success and endearing response from the visiting patients , the Pediatric and Gynec Department of GMC Hospital, Fujairah wishes to conduct more such camps to help serve the community in a better and healthier manner.  This human endeavour of GMC Hospital, Fujairah was well received and appreciated both by the patients and the management of  Abbot Nutrition and Kairali  Samskarikavedi, Fujairah .

The above health checkup camp is one of the many free social events organized by the Thumbay Group throughout the year.
