Free Dental Checkup Camp held by GMC Super-Speciality Dental Centre, Ajman

A total of 528 dental, pediatric and geriatric patients participated and benefited from the free Dental Checkup Camp organized recently by the Dental Department of GMC Hospital, Ajman, College of Dentistry-Gulf Medical University in collaboration with GSK- Sensodyne Middle East, Dubai & Dr Wild Emoform, Switzerland held at the premises of GMC Super-Speciality Dental Centre-Ajman.

The comprehensive Dental Consultation & Checkup was carried out by the GMC Ajman Dental team under the able leadership of Dr. Nabeel Safwat Al Nahass, Prosthodontist and Implant Specialist ‘A’-Assistant Professor in Gulf Medical University , 4 highly qualified Specialists in Oral & Maxillo-Facial Surgery, Orthodontics and Periodontics, 4 Senior General Dental Practitioner, 1 Oral Hygienist, 9 active dental nurses, 1 medical orderly and the kind cooperation of Prof. Mohamed Said Hamed, Dean, College of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University.

Out of a total of the patients that attended the Dental camp, 64 procedures were carried out while 135 new patients availed scaling and polishing besides the regular dental consultation & checkup .

Complimentary Medicines, Comprehensive Paradontex toothpastes and Emoform mouthwash samples were distributed free of charge to all the visiting patients and their families.

With this unique tremendous success and endearing response from the visiting patients, the Oral Surgery, Orthodontic, Periodontic and Prosthodontic Division of GMC Super-Speciality Dental Centre, Ajman wishes to conduct more such camps to help serve the community in a better and healthier manner. This human endeavour of GMC Hospital, Ajman was well received and appreciated both by the patients and the management of GMC Hospital, Ajman.
