Delegation from Hungary visit Gulf Medical University, Ajman.
A business delegation from Hungary headed by Mr. Arpad Habony, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Hungary recently visited Gulf Medical University (GMU). During their meeting with Mr. Moideen various business opportunities and possible joint collaborations with GMU was discussed.
The visiting delegation were taken around on the tour of the university and introduced to different medical faculties/departments and detailed about the educational pattern and the most modern and advanced equipments the University is equipped with for imparting quality education to the students. They praised the President of the University for the far sighted vision and the commitment to develop GMU into a global brand.
Upon a special request from the Hungarian delegation, the President of GMU Mr. Thumbay Moideen arranged an audience between the visiting delegation from Hungary and His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of Ajman, U.A.E. During the meeting they discussed about the business opportunities of mutual interest as well as the intended visit of the Prime Minister of Hungary to U.A.E. During the course of the meeting it was mentioned that GMU was introduced to Hungary because of its ongoing relationship with the prestigious Semmelweis University.
The delegation was coordinated by Mr. Bela Velez, Diplomat from the Hungarian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.
