CASH (GMU) conducted “Cardiology Symposium” accredited by UK Federation of RCPs CPD scheme
Center for Advanced Simulation in Healthcare (CASH), Gulf Medical University (GMU) hosted “Cardiology Symposium” dually accredited by UK Federation of RCPs CPD scheme for 6 CPD credits and Ministry of Health and Prevention for 5.5 CME hours on 9th November 2016 from 1:00 PM- 9:00 PM at the Ajman Campus.
The symposium was coordinated by Dr. Ehab M. Esheiba, RCPE coordinator and Head of Cardiology Department, Thumbay Hospital Ajman. 22 delegates attended the symposium and benefited from 6 sessions including lectures, workshops, and live interactive discussions. The symposium elaborated on management of cardiovascular diseases in patients with multiple co-morbidities and covered updates on new guidelines on ACS, heart failure and dyslipidemia management. Hot topics included key issues in the management of complex patients with aortic stenosis, atrial fibrillation, heart failure, adult congenital heart disease and challenges in the management of patients with stable angina.
The event was highly appreciated by the attending delegates.
