Canadian ambassador visits Gulf Medical COLLEGE facilities
Gulf Medical College was honored by the visit of Canadian Ambassador to the U.A.E Her Excellency SARA HRADECKY along with 15 delegates from the Canadian embassy and Chamber of Commerce Ajman, who visited the college on 10th of May 2007. The Ambassador met the President Mr. Thumbay Moideen to explore the possibilities of various joint activities. The delegations were briefed with the progress and activities of the college with a short presentation and were taken around a tour of the college along with all the delegates.
The Delegation was highly impressed by the infrastructure and facilities provided by the college management and congratulated the president for having made such a progress in such a short span of time. The college management has expressed keen interest in conducting various joint activities with various institution of similar caliber in CANADA.
The Gulf Medical College has many CANDIAN students pursuing various courses offered by the college and has received many admission enquiries from CANADA. The college presently has students from more than 39 nations.
Gulf Medical College is recognized and approved as an institution for higher education by the Ministry of Education, UAE. GMC is listed in World Directory of Medical Schools by WHO and also listed in IMED under the auspices of FAIMER. GMC is offering M.B.B.S degree programs with a capacity for 60 students & B.P.T Programs with a capacity for 25 students with limited seats for both boys and girls of all nationalities. It has an international faculty and a student cohort from 39 nations. Training at the college is on par with any of the best and well-established medical colleges in the world. The teaching faculty at GMC consists of highly qualified and well-experienced professors who are dedicated and fully committed to provide the students with good training in the medical field to make them competent doctors.
