Online Medical Examinations introduced at Gulf Medical University, Ajman.

Gulf Medical University has embarked upon implementing online examinations for all the programs offered by the university. The academic programs offered include MBBS, BPT, DMD, PHARM D and M.sc Clinical Pathology. Gulf Medical University has developed a software system with all the necessary security features in it to enable the students to appear computer based examinations for all the courses in each program. The online based assessment and evaluation has been in practice in universities in the western countries to ensure quality of the programs offered by them. Gulf Medical University has also introduced a similar assessment and evaluation system where the intended educational outcomes of each program are properly measured and reported.

Prof. R. Chandramouli – Dean of Assessment & Evaluations in Gulf Medical University further stated, that the online based tests not only helps students to know their scores immediately, it also provides performance statistics as feedback for continuous improvement of the quality of the programs.
