Gulf Medical University will organize its Annual Inter University Sports Festival from 1st May – 6th May 2010

The Annual 9th Sports Festival will kicks off on 1st May 2010 with the opening ceremony that will be followed by 5 successive days of competitions in different branches of sports – ranging from football, badminton, basketball, outdoor volley ball, table tennis, tennis, volleyball hosted in venues across the University campus. Prize distribution day will be held on 6th May 2010 which is the last day of the event.

This week long sports festival is very popular among the students of various colleges and universities and had received a very good response in the past. The aim of the festival is to encourage students to engage in sporting activities, keeping in mind that Sports make a person physically strong and mentally alert. On the other hand, it imbibed the spirit of cooperation, discipline and tolerance.
