Gulf Medical University students of 44 nationalities will go back to the era of traditions on May 7th & 8th 2010.

May 7th & 8th 2010 will mark the day when Gulf Medical University students of 44 nationalities will go back to the era of traditions, when each student swapped their usual uniform for more traditional wear from their own country. The colorful and vibrant campus will come to life with students dressed elegantly in their ethnic wear. Students could be seen admiring their friends whom, they were seeing for the first time in a whole new light. The event is scheduled for the afternoon, while the judges will contemplate who the winner will be for the Best Stall, Most entertaining stall, Miss Ethnic, Mr. Ethnic and other categories.

There will also be various Pavilions from UAE, India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Africa, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Iran, Palestine and Other Middle east countries and students have been encouraged to participate in the event making it a grand success.

Also, The Cultural Festival under the slogan GMU GLOBAL DAY 2010 will see more than 6 Universities competing with each other for various events like Solo and Group Song, Eastern Dance, Western Dance, Fashion Show and a stunning performance by GMU band with English, Arabic and Indian Songs. And for the first time, a medical quiz will be introduced as part of the game.
