GMC Hospital and Research Center conducted an Obstetric drill for OBG doctors on 18th March 2014 to facilitate their clinical skills as a part of clinical risk management activity under the supervision and facilitation of Dr. Prashanth Hegde, Chief of Medical Staff and Administrative Head, Assistant Professor & Specialist, Obstetrics and Gynecology, GMCHRC.
The session included brief didactic overview of Risk Assessment and management in cases of Shoulder Dystocia followed by hands-on training in simulated OBG Suite at C.A.S.H. Obstetric part task trainers and mid-fidelity full body birthing simulator provided the opportunity for deliberate and safe practice of OBG skills.
