MINISTER FOR HEALTH ADV. P. SANKARAN VISITS GULF MEDICAL COLLEGE. AJMAN

Gulf Medical College, Ajman, UAE, which receives a lot of dignitaries from all over the world was honoured with the visit of Adv. P. Sankaran, Minister for Health, Government of Kerala, India on Tuesday the 24th of December 2002. The Minister was received by the President, Mr. Thumbay Moideen and the Directors of GMCA Mr. B.M. Ashraf and Mr. K.E. Faizal and a presentation Introducing the facilities and activities of the college and hospital was made by the Dean Dr. S. Rangaswami.

After the presentation the Minister was escorted around the college to visit the various departments and see the facilities provided by this world-class institution. The Minister was highly impressed with the facilities provided. And congratulated the President on the progress made by the institution in such a short span of time. 

He discussed the possibility of student exchange and utilization of Indian hospitals for clinical training of our students. A special mention was made by him regarding the online library at GMC Information and Learning Centre, which he felt was in par with international standards.
