Gulf Medical University President Mr. Thumbay Moideen addresses International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) Triennial in New York, U.S.A.

The 16th IAUP Triennial held on June 17-20, 2011 at the Marriot Marquis Hotel, where Ban Ki-moon United Nations Secretary-General was the invited keynote speaker, had drawn the largest gathering of more than 200 University Presidents, Provosts, Chancellors and Vice Chancellors from Universities around the world.

Mr. Thumbay Moideen, President of the Gulf Medical University in Ajman, U.A.E, was honored as the only invited speaker from the G.C.C and delivered his speech on the Challenges of Establishing a Medical University. The speech was well appreciated by the delegates attending the 16th IAUP Triennial and received accolades for the quality of Medical Education offered by the Gulf Medical University in its campus in Ajman.
